A Facebook user, GBoy de Vibrant, has criticized actress Ruth Kadiri for her recent kissing scene in a movie, contrary to her previous stance against on-screen romance, especially kissing roles.
Despite Ruth Kadiri openly expressing her aversion to kissing scenes and declaring that she would rather quit acting than engage in such acts on screen, a snippet from the movie “Rude China” contradicts her earlier statements.
Despite her strong stance, Ruth Kadiri's participation in the movie “Rude China” suggests a departure from her previous declaration.
The Facebook user's post reads, "Ruth Kadiri once said that 'she’d rather quit acting than kiss in a movie,' but this movie title 'Rude China' is evident enough that all that were just words. One thing I'd love to comment on here is that there are some movies that if they don’t include kissing scenes, it'll not look real and emotional, so I understand why maybe she'd go against her words by kissing. Ruth said, 'I don’t kiss in movies. I used to do that before, but I stopped. It’s a conscious decision I took years ago and since that time, I’ve not died, I’m still getting gigs.' But she’s still one of the most descent, private, and disciplined in the game, so let’s give her flowers."
