The altercation started when Ruby Ojiakor posted, "Happy Father's Day to me!!! It hasn't been easy, but in all, we give thanks to the Almighty. Thank you Jesus Christ for everything. Her Royal Majesty." Junior Pope replied, "RUBY (father)???? Anyways, you are doing a great job." This comment sparked a heated exchange between them. Ruby criticized Junior Pope for his "disgusting comment," and he defended himself by explaining the difference between a father and a parent.
Ruth Eze urged Junior Pope to apologize to Ruby Ojiakor in a video, expressing disappointment and stating that their colleague's emotions have been affected by the incident.
