Veteran singer Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, has recently explained why he no longer engages with national issues or pays attention to the state of the nation.
In a recent interview on Cool FM, Rudeboy was asked about his views on the current state of affairs in Nigeria.
Rudeboy explained that he has chosen to refrain from sharing his opinions on national matters since his last involvement during the 2023 general elections, which he felt did not lead to any positive change.
He further emphasized that he is now focused on building his own personal success and is no longer concerned with the political and social management of Nigeria.
His statement was clear: “I’m sorry. I don’t have any opinion anymore. The last opinion I did was during the election and I am not saying anything anymore. Nothing concern me again. Anyhow wey una wan run the country, make una run am. I’m building my own country myself now.”[/p>
