Renowned Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie, has responded after Pete Edochie disavowed any knowledge of his son Yul's second marriage.

During an interview with Chude, Pete mentioned having five sons and asserted that he refrains from interfering in their matters unless they involve him. He shared that he learned about Yul's second marriage just like anyone else did.
Speaking glowingly about May, the Nigerian cinema legend acknowledged her pivotal role in the success of her marriage to Yul. He expressed concern that some individuals had been offering misguided advice to May, potentially jeopardizing her union with Yul. He highlighted that some of these advisors did not have harmonious domestic lives themselves.
Responding to the situation, Rita Edochie took to Instagram and wrote, "I said it that they hired people from Ogbommanu Onitsha to drama devil hometown, now it’s clearly clear.
My darling daughter Queen May is a national treasure. Some people think they played her, but they really played themselves out of a good person."
