Former Big Brother Naija contestant, Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David, widely known as Doyin, recently voiced her stance on the contentious topic of abortion. In a recent episode of her podcast titled Doyin's Corner, she expressed her support for the pro-choice movement, advocating for a woman's right to make decisions regarding abortion.
Doyin clarified that she does not view abortion as murder when the termination of pregnancy occurs before the embryo develops into a fetus. She acknowledged that certain circumstances and situations can make it challenging for women to carry a pregnancy to term, and she believes it is important for them to have the option to choose abortion if they wish.
She highlighted specific instances where she believes abortion is justifiable, such as ectopic pregnancies that pose serious health risks or cases involving rape. Doyin emphasized that in such situations, the decision to have an abortion is distinct and necessitates a different understanding.
During the podcast episode, Doyin was joined by Khosi Twala, the winner of BBTitans season one, who shared a similar perspective on abortion.
