Yesterday, the Duchess of Sussex arrived at Heathrow Airport to reunite with her husband at the airport’s VIP Windsor Suite.

They boarded a British Airways overnight flight to Abuja, albeit experiencing a slight delay due to the scheduled pilot falling ill, which necessitated a swift replacement to be arranged.

Seated in the first-class section of the Boeing 777, the couple, making their debut visit to Nigeria together, were segregated from other passengers by a curtain.

Harry's return to the UK this week to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games was met with his expressed delight. He had been in London since Tuesday, engaging in events associated with the competition, including a thanksgiving service.

Upon disembarking from the aircraft, the couple exchanged smiles with the cabin crew, while Nigerian officials extended a warm welcome to them at Abuja Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport. Subsequently, they were swiftly escorted away in a blacked-out minibus, awaiting them at the jetty through a side door.
