Nollywood actor, Prince Eke, took to Instagram to mark the harrowing 8th anniversary of his survival from a kidnapper's den in Rivers State. In a heartfelt post, he revealed the challenges he faced, not just from his abductors but also from colleagues who accused him of staging his own kidnapping for financial gain.
Speaking about his experience, he said that although being with them was like hell on earth, the lies his friends and colleagues spread about him were the worst thing that had happened to him.
He encouraged his fans and followers to pray for life, citing himself as an example, because if they pass away, their loved ones will say many offensive things.
Prince Eke is thankful for the gift of grace and life in spite of everything.
In his words: “Today marks exactly 8 years I was kidnapped in Nigeria. Along Ubima road in Rivers state. I experienced hell on earth. But the greatest experience was that most of my colleagues and friends alleged that I kidnapped myself to raise money.Pray for life, because if you eventually die. People that you thought were close to you will say so many unprintable things about you. Thank God for the gift of life and grace!”.
