Seun Kuti, the renowned Afrobeat star, recently shared his thoughts on a unique experience he had while being detained by the police for slapping a security operative at Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos. Despite his ongoing case with the police, Seun Kuti has embarked on his Europe tour, with his lawyers defending the trip by stating that he currently faces no prosecution from the Nigeria Police Force or any other prosecuting authority.
Reflecting on his time spent with prisoners, Seun Kuti expressed a profound perspective, stating that he found it preferable to be on the cold floor among inmates rather than being in the company of politicians, whom he refers to as the devil's house. In an Instagram post, he conveyed his sentiment through the following words: "Dem put me for hard cold floor, in the midst of prisoners still better than sitting in the devil’s house with politicians."
