After his recent encounters with law enforcement, controversial musician Portable sparked online chatter by proclaiming himself a police ambassador, just days following his chase and subsequent arrest by police officers.
Recalling recent events, the singer attempted to evade arrest when approached by officers, leading to his subsequent arrest. However, he was arrested again, this time reportedly for assaulting a police officer, before being released once more.
Taking to his Instagram page, Portable shared photos of himself alongside his father and dignitaries at the police headquarters in Lagos, announcing his new role as a police ambassador while reiterating the familiar phrase, ‘Police is your friend.’
In his announcement, the Zazzoo crooner expressed his belief in divine providence and the importance of governmental and law enforcement institutions. He concluded with gratitude for any setbacks, viewing them as blessings in disguise.
