Controversial artist Portable has publicly criticized a Sony Music artist for giving him 'bad advice' during his recent visit to the United States, shortly after meeting with Davido.
The two Nigerian musicians linked up in Atlanta, US, where they shared a meal together.
In a video that surfaced online, Portable can be seen ranting over the sort of advice he received.
According to him, he was advice to join Empire music group by someone who is in Sony music, which he considers to be bigger.
He expressed his dissatisfaction with the advice, wondering why he wasn’t told to join Sony because that would increase his recognition globally.
Portable emphasized that the sort of music connection he wants is the sort that will increase him from zero to 100.
It would be recalled that Davido signed a deal with Sony Music in 2016, and renewed the deal in 2023.
