Nigerian singer, Harrison Tare Okiri, widely recognized as Harrysong, has taken to social media to address a longstanding issue with his former label boss, Kcee, pertaining to unpaid debts and withheld royalties.
In a series of posts on his Instagram story, Harrysong earnestly appealed to Kcee to refund his money and release control over his songs.
Detailing the extent of the issue, Harrysong highlighted specific tracks, such as "Reggae Blues," "Baba for the Girls," and "Samankwe," among others, for which Kcee has allegedly been receiving 100 percent of the royalties.
Expressing his plea, Harrysong implored the Five Star music executive to take his rightful share and accord him the due recognition for his creative contributions.
Acknowledging Kcee's reputation, Harrysong initiated his post with a plea, citing Kcee as a "bully" and referring to him as the "power mike."[/p>
Closing his message, Harrysong offered a prayer, invoking divine intervention to ensure that the fruits of his labor are not reaped by another individual.
