Nigerian veteran singer and performer, Peter Okoye (popularly known as Mr. P) responded to the backlash he received after kissing a female fan during a recent concert in Amsterdam. The video of Peter Okoye kissing the female fan on the lips sparked criticism from some people on social media. However, the singer defended himself, stating that he was just doing his job by entertaining his fans.

Peter Okoye took to his social media page to address the criticisms and defended his actions. He stated that many of his female fans at the Amsterdam concert also received "correct kisses" from him, adding that people should not be jealous. He then used the hashtag #JustDoingMyJob and #Psquare100CitiesWorldTour to emphasize that he was simply entertaining his fans.
