Pere Egbi, the Big Brother reality star, recently opened up about his relationship with Mercy Eke, revealing that they have made a conscious decision to keep their romantic connection away from the public eye. Their journey together began during the final week of the show, when they were among the last six housemates. As time went on, they developed deep affections for each other.
During a guest appearance on a TVC show, Pere shared an update on the current status of their 'ship.' He emphasized that while they are still on good terms, they have chosen to maintain a low-key approach to their relationship.
He said; “We [Mercy and I] are friends and we are just keeping everything out of the public. Let’s see where it goes.”
The actor commented on the online post-show controversy, particularly between female BBNaija stars; “Women are full of drama. So, they are just doing them. And they’re just being women. Maybe we would all just sit down with some popcorn and watch the drama unfold.”
