Teenage TikTok influencer, Peller, recently addressed his previous statements regarding plans to open a GoFundMe campaign aimed at raising N30 million for his girlfriend Jarvis's surgery to treat a tumor in her mouth.
Peller’s initial announcement stirred up concern for Jarvis, an AI content creator battling a challenging health condition, as he revealed the extent of her medical needs and his intentions to find financial support for her treatment.
In a recent video, the TikToker clarified his statement, affirming that all he stated on the live video was a joke and that neither he nor his girlfriend required such an amount.
He further blasted his followers and close associates who ridiculed him with allegations of attempting to raise money for personal gain.
“Please, I was on a live video and I was only joking based on a comment I saw. Jarvis is doing fine, she doesn’t need a kobo. I am not using her for begging; this is Jarvis, she is doing fine,” he stated.
Confirming the claim, Jarvis confirmed, “I am fine, whatever he said, he was only cruising.”
