Nigerian talent manager, Paulo Okoye, has made a heartfelt appeal to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, business magnate Aliko Dangote, and the CEO of NNPCL to reduce the price of petroleum to N450, citing the needs of the masses.
Gistreel previously reported on the ongoing fuel scarcity and the rising prices of fuel across Nigeria. As of Tuesday morning, some NNPCL retail stations in Lagos are selling fuel between N865 and N897 per litre. This significant price increase has been noted at several NNPC retail stations, particularly in Lagos and Abuja.
Paulo Okoye has respectfully requested that these key figures take action to lower petrol prices, viewing it as a gesture of their commitment to the well-being of Nigerians.
In his Instagram post, Paulo Okoye emphasized that his message was a sincere plea rather than a directive.
He wrote:
“Our President Oga Aliko Dangote NNPCL CEO If you believe you love Nigerians, You should reduce the price of petroleum to N450. We dey beg Please Biko”
