Nigerian music sensation Paul Okoye, aka Rudeboy of P-Square, has lamented why he and his brothers can’t maintain a family bond despite no longer being in a business partnership.
The P-Square duo, comprising Paul and Peter Okoye, has been embroiled in a public feud.
It began when Paul accused Peter of reporting him to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in an interview.
Peter responded with an open letter on social media, denying the allegations and instead seeking transparency about a mysterious company, Northside Music, allegedly owned by their older brother Jude Okoye and his wife Ifeoma.
In a swift response, Jude Okoye, the elder brother of Paul and Peter Okoye, took to Instagram Live on Saturday to address the allegations.
He vehemently denied Peter’s claims that he had diverted millions of dollars in P-Square royalties into a personal account.
While speaking during an Instagram live chat on Monday, Paul Okoye wondered why they, brothers, cannot be together as siblings, even though they are no longer in business together.
He said …
“Even if we don’t do P-Square, can’t we be brothers? Even if we can’t do music, can’t we be brothers?
“Like I said, I don’t want to talk much. I don’t used to talk before. It’s so unfortunate.”
