Nigerian singer, Omah Lay, expressed genuine surprise when Davido gave him a shoutout during a livestream with American influencer Kai Cenat.
The musician took to his Twitter page to share his feelings, revealing that he had previously believed Davido harbored animosity towards him.
Omah Lay recounted the moment during a nighttime drive with Kai Cenat when Davido played his song, 'Reason,' and introduced him to Kai, praising him as "Hot asf."
Kai Cenat, recalling Omah Lay's performance where he danced with another man's girlfriend on stage, jokingly expressed fear and begged Omah Lay not to take his girlfriend.
Omah Lay, appreciative of the exposure Davido provided him during the livestream, now feels reassured that Davido doesn't harbor any ill feelings towards him.
In a tweet, Omah Lay wrote: "I’ve always thought OBO hated me!"
