The aide of Nigerian rapper Oladips, Abdul Rasheed Opeyemi, has provided clarification on the reported death of the artist, asserting that Oladips indeed passed away for three days before being revived.
The shocking revelation comes in the wake of the rapper being pronounced dead by his management on November 14. The announcement stated that Oladips, known for hits like 'Chache,' had succumbed to an illness he had battled for two years.

He disclosed that the misinterpretation of Oladips' condition stemmed from the manager, who had access to the artist's page, mistakenly thinking he had passed away. It was only on the third day that Oladips was revived, but by then, the manager had already shared the news of his demise.
"I don’t know how to say this. It was a misinterpretation by the manager who has access to Oladips’ page. We all thought he was dead because he was not breathing until the third day when he was revived. By then, the manager had already shared the story," explained Abdulrasheed during the interview.
Responding to questions about Oladips' whereabouts during those three days, Abdulrasheed simply stated, "He was with his family." Additionally, he revealed that the manager responsible for the premature announcement has been dismissed by the music group.
"You are speaking with the right person in the label. The manager who shared the story has since been sacked. Oladips will soon address everyone on the issue,” Abdulrasheed added.
