Celebrating the recent union of his best friend and fellow actor, Kunle Remi, Nollywood star Deyemi Okanlawon shared his joy and offered a word of caution. Kunle Remi had tied the knot with his beautiful wife, Tiwi, an announcement that had been made on January 1, 2024.
Deyemi, present at the wedding ceremony, took to a microblogging platform to express his happiness for his best friend and the newlywed couple. Offering prayers for their journey together, he extended his wishes to everyone navigating love in the public eye.
His prayer included a plea for God's protection, wishing them unfathomable peace and a shield against the negativity that often resides in people's hearts. Deyemi also offered a friendly warning, acknowledging the challenges they might face from the scrutiny of Nigerians.
In his heartfelt words: “So happy for Tiwi & KR… to anyone who falls in love with and chooses a spouse in the public space I pray God protects you from the evil in the hearts of many and grants you peace beyond understanding… because Nigerians will test you!”
