Idowu Adeyemi, widely known as Yhemolee, an actor and musician, recently shared his personal journey in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, where he discussed the difficulties he and his sister faced after their parents' separation. Yhemolee opened up about the profound impact the failed marriage had on their lives and how they struggled to support themselves through education.
During the interview, Yhemolee revealed that his parents separated when he and his sister were still young, leaving them with the responsibility of financing their own education. Despite their parents' initially comfortable financial situation, Yhemolee found himself shouldering the role of a provider at a tender age.
Recalling the challenging period, Yhemolee shared, "I saw myself and my sister through school. They [our parents] separated at a point when they could have damaged our lives. My parents were well-to-do. I mean, I went to one of the best schools at that time. But they left us all of a sudden."
Despite the hardships they endured, Yhemolee later shared a heartwarming update on his family's current status. He disclosed that during his mother's birthday celebration the previous year, he orchestrated a remarkable reunion between his parents, successfully bringing them back together. In a display of unity, Yhemolee even took them clubbing together, showcasing the positive turn of events within his family.
