Nigerian skit creator and actor, Mr Macaroni, recently took to Twitter to engage with fans of artists Davido and Burna Boy amid their ongoing feud. The online altercation unfolded after Mr. Macaroni criticized a video of Davido’s bodyguard, Lati, allegedly assaulting a fan. A Davido fan, @kellybonito_, then called out Mr. Macaroni for not addressing Burna Boy’s comments on rapper Eedris Abdulkareem’s health.
Defending his position, Mr. Macaroni explained that his critique of the incident involving Davido's fan was based on opposing unfair treatment, not allegiance to any artist. In response to accusations from Davido’s fans, he expressed reluctance to engage in fanbase battles on Twitter. Mr. Macaroni clarified his admiration for Davido and questioned the troll's level of affection for the artist.
