Nigerian actress Moyo Lawal has recently revealed the reason behind her decision to keep her birthday low-key this year, marking a departure from her usual celebratory stance in adulthood.
Interestingly, the Badagry-born actress opted for silence on Tuesday, January 2nd, as she welcomed a new age, a departure from the norm that drew attention from fans and colleagues alike.
While some of her peers, such as Mary Njoku and Uche Ogbodo, took the initiative to share pictures and celebrate her, Moyo Lawal chose a different path this time around.

In her own words: "I didn’t do any photoshoots or announce or even celebrate my birthday for the first time in my adult life (I did exactly what I would do if I wasn’t into showbiz).
“This is my year of attempting things completely strange to me, crossed the hardest hurdle, they say the first step is the hardest.”
