A viral video making rounds online captures the intriguing moment the renowned comedian Mr Macaroni appears to disregard the presence of Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu, at Tony Elumelu’s all-white party.
The backdrop of this incident is the all-white party hosted by business tycoon Tony Elumelu, which drew the attendance of numerous Nigerian A-listers from various sectors.
In the circulating video, Mr Macaroni is seen apparently choosing not to exchange pleasantries with Governor Sanwo-olu upon the latter's arrival at the event.
Governor Sanwo-olu and Tony Elumelu were observed walking together, and while Mr Macaroni warmly greeted the businessman, he conspicuously refrained from acknowledging the presence of the governor.
The governor, noting the apparent snub, confronted Mr Macaroni, asking if he wouldn't greet him. In response, the comedian offered a greeting with a subtle bow and a handshake.
