In the wake of the tragic and untimely passing of Mohbad, his dearest friend, Hayan, continues to maintain the innocence of Mohbad's wife, Wunmi, as they mark 50 days since the singer's untimely demise.
Since that fateful day when Mohbad's life was abruptly cut short on September 12, 2023, a multitude of controversies and conspiracy theories have arisen, each presenting its own interpretation of the truth.
One of these theories involves suspicions surrounding Mohbad's wife, Olawunmi, with claims of her involvement in the incident. Rumors and reports have circulated, suggesting a tumultuous relationship marked by moments of tension, including physical altercations.
Amid these speculations, Hayan, Mohbad's closest friend, has taken it upon himself to be the voice of reason and truth.
Observing the 50th day since Mohbad's tragic passing, he wrote;
"Mohbad left this cruel world 50 days ago today, and yet there is no justice, no burial, and no autopsy results. His innocent wife is labeled a murderer, and his beloved son is called a bastard by Nigerians.
You all failed my brother because we spoke up when everything started, and our silence didn't signify weakness. One thing I love most is none of us is going to leave this world alive; we are all going to die. It's just painful that Imole left us so quickly with all the bullying that gave him hypertension, leading to depression and causing him to pass away at a young age - so sad."
