Supermodel Oluchi Onweagba corrects Temi Otedola for declaring herself as L’Oréal Paris’ first ambassador from Nigeria and Africa.
This incident occurred shortly after Temi Otedola, daughter of a billionaire, was appointed as the brand’s inaugural African ambassador.
Oluchi utilized Instagram to set the record straight regarding Temi Otedola’s assertion.
The supermodel presented evidence supporting her claim as the first Nigerian ambassador for L’Oréal Paris.
Oluchi shared an archival photo of herself representing the brand, asserting her rightful claim to the title. In a subtle jab, she captioned: “LEGITIMATE TBT FIRST NIGERIAN REMAINS FIRST FOREVER. NOT A LOUD SPEAKER BUT COUNT ON ME TO SHOW YOU ALL RECEIPTS.”
Oluchi Onweagba’s post directly addresses Temi Otedola’s recent announcement, which Temi shared on social media. Temi posted a picture of herself alongside the declaration:
“I still don’t believe I’m typing this but I’m so excited to announce that I am the first-ever African Digital Ambassador for @lorealparis
I’m truly honored to be the first Nigerian representing L’Oréal not only across Africa but also on a global stage. This has been the hardest secret for the last 6 months!!.”
