It would be recalled that Phyna’s younger sister, Ruth, tragically lost her life following a devastating accident involving a Dangote truck. The heartbreaking incident left the reality TV star devastated as she fought to secure justice and proper care for her sibling.

Before her passing, Ruth had reportedly been in a coma for several days, and during that period, Phyna made tireless efforts to seek justice while also exploring every possible option to save her sister’s life. Unfortunately, despite her efforts, Ruth eventually passed away, leaving her family and loved ones in deep sorrow.

While several unverified reports claimed that Phyna demanded one billion naira as compensation, Mike Premium, who disclosed that he had been working behind the scenes on the case, stated otherwise. He explained that Phyna never mentioned such an amount and that her focus was entirely on ensuring Ruth received advanced medical care abroad, as her condition required facilities beyond what was locally available.

Backing up his claims, Mike Premium shared chat exchanges where Phyna explicitly requested that her sister be flown out of the country for treatment. According to him, this was the most urgent and consistent demand throughout their conversations, not monetary compensation as speculated by the public.

In his words …

“On no occasion did we talk about N1 billion as a demand! False narrative!! I was the one handling this case underground since the news broke out, without social media. This was my direct appeal to Phyna and the legal counsel I provided to support her in seeking justice for her sister because she really didn’t know how to go about it. The first and most urgent demand was that her sister be flown abroad for emergency medical treatment, because it was clear from the beginning that her condition required advanced care that wasn’t available locally. But instead of receiving compassion and immediate action, she was met with delays, excuses and now… tragedy.

Dangote no get two head as long as I’m concerned, him no better pass me or the person he killed. We are the same in the presence of God. They should do the right thing. Let it be known: This was not a natural death. Her life was forcefully taken not by fate, but by human negligence and disregard.”

He further emphasized that the loss of Ruth should not be trivialized, stressing that her death was preventable had urgent and decisive actions been taken. His remarks have since sparked emotional reactions online, with many demanding accountability and justice for Phyna’s late sister.
