The wife of popular Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, May Edochie, has finally broken her silence after several months since the tragic passing of her son, Kambilochukwu.
May Edochie had been absent from social media for an extended period following the heartbreaking loss of her firstborn, Kambilochukwu, who tragically collapsed and passed away while playing football with his friends at school.
In her recent Instagram post, May Edochie expressed heartfelt gratitude to her friends, family, and loyal supporters who have stood by her during these challenging times. She also extended her appreciation to the brands she represents for their understanding and patience throughout her period of mourning.
May Yul Edochie shared the following message on her Instagram page:
"Words alone cannot adequately convey our deep appreciation for all of you. Despite these painful ordeals, we firmly believe that this immeasurable loss has been a gain for heaven. When you lose a husband, you become a widow... When you lose a wife, a widower... When you lose a father, you become fatherless... When you lose a mother, motherless... When you lose both parents, you become an orphan... But there seems to be no English word to describe the loss of a child. I don't believe there is any death as intense and agonizing as losing one's own child. We are still engulfed in indescribable grief; however, by God's special grace, we are managing. The uncertainty of tomorrow remains a mystery, and certain events are unforgettable, but we must find a way to carry on with life, no matter how painful and difficult it may be. The incredible love and support we have received from our family, friends, and well-wishers across the globe, through various means, are unimaginable and unwavering. Lately, we have experienced the most devastating and traumatic circumstances of life, but your prayers have sustained us. My friends and family have been pillars of strength, supporting me through this process in the most amazing ways. The brands I represent have shown kindness and patience. Life has left me feeling resigned to fate, with a sense of emptiness and overwhelming emotions. However, my incredible fans have stood by me even in my absence. This love can only be attributed to 'God's grace' and can be described as both the wonder and awe of serendipity. We genuinely appreciate all your support and cannot thank you enough, sincerely praying that everything will help us overcome this tragic loss and anxiety. We can only offer God's blessings in return and pray that affliction will never visit your homes, in Jesus' name. 🙏❤️ It is impossible to forget a child, so he will always remain the second of my four adorable children.
