Nigerians have shared valuable advice with the renowned American rapper, Roddy Ricch, urging him to take extra precautions in securing his chain as he makes his inaugural visit to Nigeria.
This counsel stems from the unfortunate experiences of Nigerian artists, Davido and Mayorkun, both of whom lamented the disappearance of their expensive jewelry during events where they performed.
Scheduled to headline the Flytime Fest organized by Coca-Cola from the 21st to the 25th of December in Lagos, Roddy Ricch joins a star-studded lineup including Davido, Asake, Lil Durk, and others.
Reactions to a video capturing Roddy Ricch's arrival have flooded social media, with users expressing humorous concern and offering advice. @GeneralSnow_ playfully questioned, "Why he dey waka dey fear??" while @ElRankin1 advised, "Hold your diamond chain well oh, make u no cry like Mayor of 36 states."
@Ifeade_Lu shared a personal reflection, saying, "That was the expression on my face when I first visited Nigeria in 2016! Don’t blame anyone if they appear puzzled in an unfamiliar environment. You might have the same bewildered expression."
@FemmyVickky offered a geographical suggestion, advising, "Don’t go to Calabar biko," while @Elina_Ene emphasized the importance of authenticity, cautioning, "Make una no give am fake things abeg so that him go go back the way e take come 🙏."
@officialntino humorously remarked, "Baba done see fake yansh…see as e shine hin eye."
