Taking to social media, Kizz Daniel reflected on the pivotal role his wife played in his journey to fame, particularly highlighting her instrumental contribution to his debut in the music industry. He revealed that his wife not only believed in his talent from the outset but also financially supported him by funding his first song a decade ago. Despite facing skepticism from others, Mjay remained steadfast in her faith in Kizz Daniel's abilities, providing him with encouragement and sustenance as he spent hours honing his craft in the studio.

“She paid for my first song….ten years ago when i started music she believed in me. I would spend hours in the studio and she would bring me food. I remember friends mocking her that i can’t sing well. She and my brother stood by me……
I would make a post and only her and my brother would like it.
She even had to pay for the studio recording of my first song which was just 10k naira.
