Renowned Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw, condemns politicians, asserting that struggling Nigerians are burdened with increased taxes, in stark contrast to the "prayers" mentioned by Senate President Akpabio during a recent plenary session.
In response to the revelation made by Akpabio that "prayers" were sent to his colleagues as they embarked on a recess, Kate Henshaw expressed her dismay at the lack of consideration shown by politicians towards the challenges faced by ordinary Nigerians.
She expressed her frustration on social media, stating:
"The only 'prayers' going into the 'mail' of Nigerians is more taxes, more burdens, more 'grin & bear it', more 'we don't give a f@#k'. Happy holidays to the ones meant to serve & bring succour to their constituents. Nothing do una jare. What's the worst that can happen? Morning."
