In a recent interview that quickly went viral, the lady explained her preference, noting that she favors Yahoo boys because they “spoil their babies” and maintain a fun, club-going lifestyle. She contrasted this with working-class men, who, she claimed, often expect their partners to stay home and perform domestic duties like cooking—an expectation she finds unappealing.

Elaborating on her viewpoint, the woman emphasized that “all these old men over 30 are the working class; you cannot see any under 30 that won’t press. I prefer Yahoo boys because they have that clubbing vibe. A working-class will not take you to club; Yahoo boys will take you to club and your bag will be filled. Working class will ask you to stay at home cooking for him.”

In response, Kate Henshaw took to social media, issuing a firm warning against this mindset, which she likened to cases of ritual-related tragedies involving young women. She cautioned, “Na so dem go take pieces you for ritual. Yeye mindset.”

Henshaw’s reaction has since sparked a wave of discussions, with some fans supporting her stance on discouraging the glamorization of Yahoo boys’ lifestyle, while others challenged both the woman’s perspective on relationships and the societal expectations she highlighted. The public debate also focused on whether Henshaw’s comments were appropriate or overly harsh.
