Nigerian musician, Iyanya has called out a social media user who undermined his music career in a Twitter post. The musician who has made significant contributions to the music genre came across a tweet from a user who belittled a comment made by Ubi Franklin during a show.
Reportedly, Ubi Franklin gave a shoutout to Burna Boy, Davido, and Wizkid for their contributions to promoting Afrobeats globally. However, while praising these three artists, he also acknowledged Iyanya's contribution as well.
The Twitter user who didn't agree with Ubi Franklin's opinion that Iyanya has contributed to Afrobeat discredited the comment. The user wrote, "Ubi Franklin gave shoutout to Davido, Wizkid, Rema and Burna Boy for what they're doing to Afrobeats internationally and he mentioned Iyanya too."
In response to the tweet, Iyanya, who is known for his hit song "Kukere," lambasted the Twitter user and pointed out that only someone who is brainless would undermine his relevance in the music industry. He wrote, "And who are you again? Only a brainless person will try to undermine my contribution to this game till date. You definitely are clueless."
