Veteran Nollywood actress, Ini Edo, has set tongues wagging with the recent display of an engagement ring, sparking rumors of a new love in her life.
Ini Edo, a mother of one, who once expressed her independence and the lack of necessity for marriage to feel accomplished, took to her Instagram story to share a video where she proudly showcases an engagement ring adorned with a sizable gemstone.
In her video, she boldly states that she is engaged and humorously adds that she will be marrying Jesus Christ of Nazareth. She playfully remarks, "My engagement ring; I’m getting married to Jesus."
Notably, Ini Edo was previously married to Philip Ehiagwina, a businessman from Edo, in 2008. However, their marital journey faced challenges and eventually concluded in 2014. Since then, the actress has been leading an independent life and even welcomed a child through surrogacy.
