An influencer has offered a substantial sum of N2 million as a reward to an Abuja-based barber who found himself at the center of a heated exchange with Nigerian music star Davido.
The drama began when Davido, known for his outspoken nature on social media, engaged in a public disagreement with the Abuja barber, identified as Kallystouch on Instagram.
The dispute stemmed from the barber’s assertion that another Nigerian music star, Wizkid, held the number one position in the industry, relegating Davido to third position (003).
Davido swiftly responded to the assertion, expressing disappointment that the barber had missed the opportunity to provide him with a haircut during his visit to Abuja.
He lamented that this missed opportunity had hindered the Abuja barber’s “generation blessing.”
“kallystouch I don save ur picture I for come Abuja. U for cut my hair wey don almost finish but u like social media. My last 3 barbers I open shop for them. Nah so u dull ur generation blessing smh.” Davido said.
Unbothered by Davido’s criticism, Kallystouch remained resolute in his stance, reaffirming Wizkid’s supremacy in his opinion.
However, the confrontation took an unexpected turn when a influencer, identified as @MrDablue on Twitter, intervened with a remarkable offer.
@MrDablue pledged a substantial sum of over N2 million to the Abuja barber, emphasizing that Davido’s status did not equate to divine authority, and therefore, dissenting voices deserved recognition and reward.
In the influencer’s words;
“Who has that barber guy’s contact, 2 million naira for him. Davido is not God. Someone just sent me 200k to add to this, this guy will be rich forever.”
