An X (Twitter) influencer has come under fire after he compared the wedding ceremony of singer, Davido to that of billionaire son, Anant Ambani.
The influencer who identified as Pooja had shared in a tweet that Anant Ambani’s wedding cost way more than that of the singer. This statement sparked a wave of criticism from fans and followers who felt the comparison was inappropriate and unnecessary.
During the weekend, the son of the richest man in Asia, Anant Ambani, tied the knot with his lover Radhika Merchant in a luxurious ceremony that took place in India. The extravagant event was attended by numerous high-profile guests and featured opulent decorations, elaborate performances, and a lavish menu, making it one of the most talked-about weddings of the year.
Also, recall that Nigerian singer Davido had wedded his long-time partner Chioma in an outstanding ceremony which became the talk of the town. Their wedding, although different in scale and style, was a grand celebration that captivated their fans and followers, showcasing their love and commitment to each other.
The influencer had placed both wedding budgets side by side and announced that the billionaire’s son surpassed the ceremony of the singer. His judgement which wasn’t well received by some Internet users, landed him on the hot seat thereby forcing him to take down the post.
