An influencer publicly apologizes for fabricating a post, falsely portraying the prominent singer, Peruzzi, claiming to have had a relationship with the Grammy nominee Chioma Adeleke.
A social media user, @belikebaddy, on the microblogging platform, X, created a fake tweet in Peruzzi's name, alleging an affair with Davido's wife.
Under the guise of the former DMW records artist, the influencer claimed to have cheated with Chioma Adeleke and revealed alleged behind-the-scenes details of his collaboration with Davido.
In an initial tweet, he wrote;
“We used to be so close, but because you hear say I Dey pipe your wife you start to give me attitude I don leave your circle sha. Ungrateful Nigga like say if I no write your songs you for blow.”
Approximately 24 hours later, the influencer issued a public apology, seemingly prompted by legal intervention from Peruzzi's team.
“I apologize for posting an edited tweet which involves Peruzzi and Davido. I take full responsibility for all my actions, and I promise it will never happen again. My apologies to DMW management,” reads the new post.
