The triumphant winner of Big Brother Naija Season 8, Ilebaye Odiniya, found herself emotional and tearful as she expressed frustration over the distressing actions of trolls who took their online banter to extreme levels, wishing death upon her parents.
This unfortunate incident unfolded after a playful exchange between fans of Ceec and supporters of Ilebaye on the microblogging platform X, culminating in a troll making baseless claims about the demise of Ilebaye's parents.
In a heartfelt post on her X page, Ilebaye clarified that she had not engaged in any significant wrongdoing to warrant such a severe response, and decried the insensitive labeling of her parents as deceased by certain social media users.
Expressing her anguish through tearful words, Ilebaye vowed to take legal action against anyone responsible if any harm befell her parents. In a now-deleted post on X, she lamented, "I have never said anything or dragged anyone on this app. I have always been on my lane. And you call my parent dead. All in the name of drag!"
She continued, "What wrong have those innocent people done to you? With the tears that dropped while typing this, my God will judge you. If anything happens to my parents, I promise you, I will find you."
