Former Big Brother Naija Pepper Dem and All Stars contestant, Ike Onyema, humorously proposes a swap involving Nigerian contestants, Pere Egbi and Phyna, with South Africans after Nigeria's triumph in the AFCON 2023 semi-final.
The lively AFCON game between Nigeria’s Super Eagles and South Africa’s Bafana Bafana prompted Ike Onyema to take to the micro-blogging platform to extend a playful appeal following South Africa's loss at the 2023 AFCON.
In his tweet, Ike suggests that South Africans consider giving Nigerians their rising music star, Tyla, and in return, Nigerians would offer Pere Egbi, possibly including Phyna as a bonus.
“Give us Tyla and take Pere Egbi. We can add Phyna,” he wrote.
It's worth noting that Tyla surpassed Davido, Ayra Starr, and other Nigerian music stars to win a Grammy Award in 2023.
