US-based Nigerian dancer, Korra Obidi, has refuted claims of being denied American citizenship following the emotional impact of a letter from Homeland Security.
Earlier reports circulated, detailing the somber moment experienced by the mother of two during a live session after receiving what seemed to be a distressing letter.
Addressing the allegations of a citizenship denial, Korra clarified that the Department of Homeland Security did not reject her application.
Emphasizing her point, she explained that the letter indicated the application's abandonment due to her relocation to a new apartment.
“Oh my God, Jesus Christ. I submitted a form for naturalization, and the US has considered my application abandoned. I have not been denied citizenship.
