Hilda Baci made headlines on May 15, 2023, when news broke that she potentially broke the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon. The previous record of 87 hours and 45 minutes was held by Chef Lata Tondon from Rewa, India, back in 2019.

However, it is important to note that the Guinness World Record has not yet officially confirmed Baci as the new record holder for the longest cooking marathon, despite her remarkable achievement.

The Akwa Ibom-born chef has been involved in several controversial actions that have sparked criticism from Nigerians.

Recent reports suggest that Hilda Baci has allegedly been charging a significant amount of N25,000 for personal meet-ups in Abuja. According to these reports, individuals interested in a brief encounter with her will need to pay this fee for a scheduled event on June 24, 2023.

While Hilda Baci has not addressed these allegations publicly, many Nigerians have expressed their disappointment and concerns regarding what they perceive as an exorbitant fee to meet a chef.

@Mayorstilldey4u commented: "Lagos people get to see Hilda Baci for free. It's now Abuja people's turn, and it costs 25k."

@yitsugee reacted: "Meet and greet with Hilda Baci for 25k??? Wow."

@Batopy1234 stated: "25k to see Hilda Baci? Is she going to bake the bread of life?"

@esther__111 expressed: "25k to see Hilda Baci? How much did you pay the people who supported you during your cook-a-thon?"

@KhaleedSZN commented: "25k to watch Hilda Baci cook? What does my babe do for free?"

@fineboytunde_ added: "25k to see Hilda Baci? How much is some mentors' Forex class? God, please."
