The chef rose to prominence after breaking the Guinness World record for the longest cooking time, showcasing her culinary expertise.
During a podcast appearance with other Ghanaians, Hilda Baci reminisced about a Jollof competition between Nigeria and Ghana. Not only did she emerge victorious, but she also recalled tasting the Ghanaian jollof, finding it lacking in flavor. According to her, it seemed to be the best attempt from her Ghanaian competitor.
The chef mentioned that she has reviewed recipes for various types of Ghanaian jollof and found them to be quite basic. In contrast, she praised Nigerian jollof, emphasizing that Nigerians do not compromise on building rich flavors in their culinary creations.
