Popular social media content creator, GehGeh, has once again stirred massive conversations online after dropping a controversial take about the differences between baby mamas and single mothers. According to him, the two groups of women may appear the same to many people, but they are completely different when you look at their lifestyle, attitude, and financial capacity.
In a video that has since gone viral, which he titled “Difference between baby mama and single mother,” GehGeh clearly broke down what, in his view, sets these women apart. He insisted that while baby mamas are successful women who have built comfortable lives for themselves, single mothers are simply poor baby mamas who, according to him, come with so many issues that men naturally avoid them.
Baby Mama
Explaining his perspective, GehGeh described a baby mama as a successful and confident woman who does not depend on any man to survive. He said most baby mamas are career women or businesswomen with enough money to provide for themselves and their children. According to him, some of them even walked out of toxic marriages or relationships because they could afford to do so without creating drama.
He stressed that baby mamas often maintain peace with their baby fathers, which makes it easy for them to move on with their lives. He also added that a baby mama’s success and independence make her highly attractive to men, such that if she ever decides to remarry, over a hundred men would be ready to line up for her hand in marriage.
In his words: “A baby mama na successful woman wey fit take care of her child in the absence of the father. Na baby mama dey tire for relationship, maybe the man dey misbehave, they go just waka comot quietly without creating any wahala.”
Single Mother
Switching to the other side, GehGeh explained that a single mother is simply a “poor baby mama.” According to him, single mothers are problematic, dangerous, and often bitter towards their baby fathers. He went as far as describing them as “more dangerous than nuclear weapons,” claiming that men usually run away from them because of their attitude.
He said: “Single mother na poor baby mama. Those ones dey dangerous pass nuclear weapons. Na the men dey always run leave them because of how them dey behave.”
GehGeh further claimed that single mothers transfer their hatred for their baby fathers onto their children, making the kids grow up hating or fighting against their fathers. He emphasized that while baby mamas can still say good things about their ex-partners, single mothers are always hostile and never say anything positive about theirs.
He concluded that men always prefer baby mamas to single mothers because baby mamas are successful, peaceful, and respectful, while single mothers come across as bitter, aggressive, and unapproachable.
As expected, GehGeh’s statement has divided opinions online, with some agreeing with his observations and others heavily criticizing him for generalizing and promoting stereotypes about women. The video has since gone viral, sparking heated debates across multiple social media platforms.
