Nigerian actress and politician’s wife, Foluke Daramola Salako, has shared a painful experience from her past about losing her virginity to rape. During an interview with TVC Your View, the actress revealed that the experience made sex feel like a punishment for her. She added that her first husband didn't care about her trauma and wanted sex every day, which made her even more scared and apprehensive.
Furthermore, Foluke mentioned that she noticed several signs of abuse and anger issues from her first partner before they got married. However, she overlooked them because she was under pressure to get married as her friends were getting married at the time. She eventually stayed in the marriage because of societal expectations and the fear of what people would say.
