Reflecting on his most challenging experience as a newcomer, the singer recounted feeling invisible at a show where nobody acknowledged him as a performer on stage.
Fireboy revealed that he left the event in tears upon realizing that both the audience and the DJ overlooked him, opting to play music from other artists while the crowd danced along.
“Every upcoming artiste always goes through a lot of stuff. There was a show I went to perform, and nobody even knew I was on stage or spared me a second glance. Everybody was just dancing.
“The DJ was just DJing. I felt invisible and I went back to the car with my friend crying. I told myself never again. I will never ask for something until I feel like I deserve it,” he emotionally expressed.
