Former BBNaija housemate, Erica Nlewedim, has shared a cautionary message for women based on the heartbreaking story of Patience Patra Idehen, the founder of Face of Beauty Nigeria. Patra's husband abandoned her when she faced financial difficulties and couldn't support the family by herself.
Patra, who was a student at the University of Benin when she got married, was already running a successful beauty brand that brought in a substantial income. She became the breadwinner of the family because her husband was just an ordinary student with no income.
However, when Patra faced financial setbacks and started losing everything, her husband abandoned her with their two children, leaving her to beg for their daily sustenance.
In response to this story, Erica advised women to be cautious of men who are less financially successful than themselves. She emphasized that such partners often become jealous and seek ways to humble their successful counterparts.
Erica's fellow BBNaija alum, Kim Oprah, also reacted to the story, describing it as "very scary" and noting that such situations happen more frequently than people realize.
