The couple’s first child was born shortly after Ekene Umenwa’s husband’s birthday, making the occasion even more special.
In an Instagram post, the actress shared her emotional journey, expressing gratitude for the blessings she attributes to God’s mercy and describing her pregnancy experience as wonderful.
Alongside her heartfelt message, Umenwa shared a video of herself in Catholic attire, gently cradling her baby bump.
She captioned the video with the following message: “I am truly blessed by the Lord’s mercy. My pregnancy journey was an amazing experience, and I give praise to the Blessed Trinity and honor to Mother Mary, who accompanied me every step of the way. Inspired by a vision I received while praying at the grotto, I am filled with immense joy to dress as Mother Mary, whom I hold dear. Although I feel unworthy to stand in her presence, her mercy has touched me deeply.”
