Among his listed reasons, Ike Onyema highlighted the lack of support from broke partners, describing them as draining and ungrateful regardless of the efforts invested in the relationship. He emphasized their sense of entitlement, pointing out their constant need for attention, expecting it around the clock.
Ike questioned the rationale behind settling for individuals facing financial difficulties when there are numerous intelligent and hardworking people available for connections. In his words: “Some reasons you should avoid dating broke people, starting from the fact that they are not supportive; they are also draining and lack gratitude irrespective of what you do for them. They almost always have a Sense of Entitlement, They expect 24 hours attention. There are tons of smart, hardworking ppl out there ready to mingle. So why settle for the broke ppl??”
