Media personality, Oladotun Kayode, widely known as Do2dtun, has shared insightful advice in the midst of the tumultuous marriage saga involving veteran actor, Emeka Ike.
The ongoing marital discord between Emeka Ike and his estranged wife, Susan Emma, has gained attention, with their son, Michael, becoming a central figure in the controversy. Michael, in the midst of the turmoil, expressed his resentment towards his father, and leaked audio recordings surfaced, featuring Emeka Ike allegedly making troubling remarks.
Responding to this distressing situation, Do2dtun, who has navigated through his own experiences of a broken marriage, offered a crucial piece of advice – urging couples never to involve their children in their marital disputes.
Echoing a sentiment he had previously expressed, Do2dtun emphasized that using children as pawns in marital conflicts signifies a lack of love for them. He asserted, “You can fight but never involve the kids. If I were the interviewer, I wouldn't let the child on. I think in all we do, we need to apply a little more pressure when it comes to our ethics.”
He continued, “Fight dirty if you care to but don’t ever use the kids. They said ‘don’t bring a knife to a gun fight,’ great! But don’t use the child as the gun or knife in a fight.”
