Nigerian actor, Deyemi Okanlawon, who caused a stir at a movie premiere in Lagos.
The event had a futuristic theme, and Deyemi wore an agbada outfit made from a plastic bag, designed by Toyin Lawani. He shared a video on Instagram, where he wrote a short story of a prophecy of his return in the year 2123 to save the Yoruba people. The outfit and video received mixed reactions, with some praising his creativity, while others criticized it.“A prophecy of old foretells that in the year 2123 a king will be crowned from the bloodline of the greatest tech warriors of the land. A direct descendent of Oduduwa, he will win every battle, defeat every enemy, rise to become a legend and will be known as the great Yoruba Angel. His name will be OKAN LA WON! 😎,” he wrote.
