Hanks Anuku, a seasoned Nollywood actor, recently opened up about the challenges he has faced, attributing his past struggles to depression.
In response to circulating rumors alleging severe drug addiction, Anuku vehemently denied such claims in a video shared on his Instagram story. He clarified that his altered appearance was not the result of narcotics but rather stemmed from a period of battling personal demons, during which he turned to alcohol for solace.
Anuku candidly shared the source of his depression – struggles with a plot of land he had purchased in Abuja for his film school. Despite the aspirations tied to the property, financial challenges have left the site dormant for an extended period.
Despite these hardships, Anuku expressed optimism, highlighting his belief in God’s favor. He conveyed hope that divine assistance would eventually alleviate his difficulties, benefitting not only himself but everyone involved in his endeavors.
